16 year old with a serious issue
The patient was referred to us by a colleague as nobody was prepared to try and treat this unfortunate boy. It was felt to be an impossible task and risky under normal circumstances.
Regulations and predictability were questioned, but the patient was keen to try anything, this was quite understandable from his point of view as the tooth was a big problem for him in more ways than one.
Before treatment
The tooth underwent re-root treatment and internal whitening was performed it was then sealed with a composite restoration.
After treatment
Two years later, still stable and a very happy young man!
